Spring Bank Lodges appear in '5 best half-term breaks' - see Guardian.

Added 5 new breeds of hen to the farm.
Gold Laced and Buff Wyandottes, Black and Gold Silkies and blue-egg laying Cream legbars.

2008

Following the annual Visit Britain Quality in Tourism assessment Springbank Lodges have been upgraded to 4*. The Assessor commented "the owners are to be congratulated on the provision of very well equipped and comfortable accommodation in this peaceful rural setting."

RSPB reserve voted one of the top places to spot porpoises and dolphins by BBC Wildlife Magazine, (See guests comments), Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Cormorants etc. nesting in April and May.
