How to find us

By road

From the South - Recommended, though longer route. Less scenic but faster (and less trying on those subject to travel sickness!) - continue on M6 to Penrith, then A66 to Cockermouth and A595 to Whitehaven. Continue on A595 bypassing Whitehaven Town Centre. Take 1st right after Westlakes Science Park sign-posted St Bees (unsuitable for Caravans and HGV)

Alternate route from the South - M6 to junction 36 (South Lakes turn-off), A590 , A595 towards Whitehaven (Short-cut over Corney if adventurous - single track fell road) bypass Egremont and take first left sign-posted St Bees after leaving Bigrigg.

From the East - A66 to Penrith, then A66 to Cockermouth and A595 to Whitehaven. Then as from the South.

From the North and North East - Head for Carlisle (A69 from Newcastle way, A74(M) from Glasgow direction or A7 from the Scottish Borders. Take the A595 to Whitehaven then as from the South.

After turning off the A595, Springbank Farm Lodges are on your right after 1 mile.
